WHAT INFORMATION DOES HPSI COLLECT?
Most of the information collected by HPSI is used only to help us better serve our members and program vendors. It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information that our members and program vendors knowingly and voluntarily provide either through website registration membership certificates, vendor agreements or conference/seminar registrations. This personal information includes name, business address and business telephone numbers and credit card information.
If your personal information changes and you wish to update it (such as your address), or if you wish to delete your information, you can make changes to your user profile on the site. If this should prove insufficient, you may contact the site administrator named below who will correct, update or remove your personal information as requested.
HPSI does not collect any personal information from users browsing its website. Only aggregate data -- such as the number of hits per page -- are collected. Aggregate data are only used for internal and marketing purposes and do not provide any personally identifying information.
HOW DOES HPSI USE INFORMATION COLLECTED?
Generally, HPSI uses information collected to improve its own web content; to respond to visitors' interests, needs and preferences; and to develop new products and services. As part of its purchasing services, HPSI may from time to time make member contact information available to program vendors and vendor contact information available to members.
If you request that HPSI send you literature about our company or purchasing program through the postal service, we will collect from you your name and address. At that time, you may also provide us with optional information such as your company’s name and your email address. This personal information will be used by HPSI solely to send the requested literature.
WHAT PRIVACY ISSUES ARISE WITH LINKS TO OTHER SITES?
This website contains links to other websites. HPSI has no control over and is not responsible for the privacy policies or content of such sites.
WHAT MEANS OF REDRESS ARE AVAILABLE?
You can see, review and change your personal information. If you wish to make any changes to your personal information, you may access our website, enter your username and password or contact us. We will generally rely on you to assist us in informing us if the information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete.
